Last updated 6 August 2026. How we handle your personal data when you use Wdrbe Assistants.

1. Who we are

Wdrbe Assistants is a service operated by Wdrbe Ltd (“Wdrbe”, “we”, “us”), part of the wider Wdrbe product at wdrbe.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this site to book a Wardrobe Assistant, join a city waitlist, leave a review, or apply to work with us, and how we handle it.

For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, email support@wdrbe.com.

2. What we collect

When you book a session:

  • Your name, email address and phone number.
  • The address of the session and any access notes you add (e.g. buzzer, parking, pets).
  • Booking details: the assistant, city, date, time, number of hours, and the amount.
  • A record that you accepted our Terms & Conditions, and which version.

When you join the waitlist: your name, email and city (and anything you add in the notes field).

When you leave a review: the name you choose to display, your star rating and any comments. Your review link is tied to a specific completed booking.

When you apply to be an assistant: applications are collected through an online application form. Depending on the form, this includes your name and contact details, location, fashion experience, availability, photos of your work, a short video introduction, and any portfolio links.

If we take you on as an assistant: a public profile (name, photo, city and service area, years of experience, portfolio images, availability and rate) that appears on the site, plus private contact details (email and phone) that only our team can see.

Photographs of your wardrobe: during a session your assistant photographs your items and uploads them into the Wdrbe app so you can view your catalogued wardrobe.

Technical data: when you visit, our hosting provider automatically logs basic information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and pages requested, for security and to run the service.

3. Payment information

Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. Your card details are entered with and processed by that provider — we do not receive or store your full card number. We keep a record of the booking, the amount, and that payment was made.

4. How we use your data, and our lawful bases

  • To provide the service you asked for — arranging your session and connecting you with an assistant (performance of a contract).
  • To contact you about your booking — confirmations, reminders, changes and a request to leave a review (contract and our legitimate interest in running the service).
  • To take payment and pay assistants (contract and legal obligation).
  • To operate the waitlist — telling you when your city goes live (consent / legitimate interest).
  • To review and vet assistant applications, and to run assistant profiles (legitimate interest / contract).
  • To display assistant profiles and published reviews on the site (legitimate interest).
  • To keep the service secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems (legitimate interest).
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

Where we rely on consent (such as the waitlist), you can withdraw it at any time by emailing support@wdrbe.com.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the service, with:

  • Your assistant — to carry out your booking, we share your name, contact details, address and session details with the assistant you book.
  • Service providers who help us operate — including our website hosting, database and file-storage providers, our payment provider, and the provider of the form we use to collect assistant applications. They only process data on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers, or authorities, where we are required to by law or to protect our rights.

6. Information shown publicly

Assistant profiles (name, photo, city and service area, years of experience, portfolio, rate and availability) are shown publicly on the site so customers can choose. Reviews are shown publicly with the display name and rating you provide — please don’t include anything in a review you wouldn’t want shown.

7. Storage, international transfers and security

We operate in the UK and Nigeria, and some of our service providers may store or process data in other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data — for example, access controls and restricting private contact details to our team. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and then for the periods required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Waitlist entries are kept until your city launches or you ask us to remove you. Reviews remain published as part of an assistant’s history. Assistant applications and profiles are kept for as long as relevant to recruitment and the working relationship. You can ask us to delete data sooner where we’re not required to keep it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK GDPR and Nigeria’s Data Protection Act), you have rights over your personal data — to access it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability, as well as to withdraw consent where we rely on it.

To exercise any of these, email support@wdrbe.com and we’ll respond within the time the law allows. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to your data protection regulator — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).

10. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to run the site — for example, to keep our team signed in to the admin. We do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy and ask for consent where required.

11. Children

This service is intended for adults (18+). We don’t knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we’ll update the date below. This version was last updated on 6 August 2026.
