Terms & Conditions

Last updated 6 August 2026. These terms apply when you book a Wardrobe Assistant through Wdrbe.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Wdrbe and any Wardrobe Assistant session you book through it. By ticking the box at checkout and paying, you confirm that you have read and agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not book.

Wdrbe is operated by Wdrbe Ltd (“Wdrbe”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@wdrbe.com.

2. What Wdrbe is

Wdrbe is a marketplace that connects customers with independent, self-employed Wardrobe Assistants. We vet assistants, provide the booking and payment tools, and retain a service fee.

Wardrobe Assistants are independent contractors. They are not employees, agents or partners of Wdrbe, and Wdrbe does not itself provide the wardrobe-cataloguing service. Your session is a contract for services between you and the assistant, facilitated by Wdrbe.

3. No account is required

Wdrbe does not create an account for you when you book a session. Your booking is tied to the email address you provide at checkout, and that email is how we identify your booking and communicate with you.

Because there is no account, you cannot log in to view, cancel or reschedule a booking yourself. Anything you need to change about a booking must be requested by emailing support@wdrbe.com, as set out under “Cancellations” below.

You are responsible for providing a valid email address and for checking it, including your spam folder, for confirmations and updates.

4. Booking and payment

  • Payment is taken at the time of booking, through the platform.
  • The price you pay is the assistant’s rate for the hours booked, plus Wdrbe’s service fee, shown to you before you pay.
  • You must provide accurate contact details and a safe, lawful address for the session.
  • Confirmations, reminders and any updates about your booking are sent only to the email address you provide at checkout.

5. Everything stays on the platform

All bookings, messages, additional time and payments must be arranged and completed through the Wdrbe platform.

Any session or arrangement that you and an assistant agree directly or accept off the platform is entirely at your own risk. Wdrbe is not a party to it and provides no payment protection, vetting assurance, insurance, dispute resolution or support in connection with it, and accepts no liability for it whatsoever.

Arranging or paying off-platform to avoid fees is a breach of these terms and may result in the assistant being removed from the platform and future bookings from you being declined.

6. Cancellations

As there is no account or self-service booking dashboard, cancellations and any request to change a session must be made by emailing support@wdrbe.com from the email address used to book.

Requests received more than 24 hours before your session will be eligible for a full refund or credit. Requests within 24 hours of the session may not be refundable.

If an assistant cancels, we will contact you by email to offer a replacement booking or a full refund.

We are not able to offer rescheduling as a self-service feature. Any new time is a new booking, and any change agreed directly with an assistant outside of an email request to Wdrbe is not recognised by us and carries none of the protections in these terms.

7. Additional time

If a session needs longer than booked, the extra time must be booked and paid for through the platform. Please do not pay an assistant in cash or off-platform for additional time.

8. Access to your home and belongings

  • You are responsible for providing safe, lawful access to the location for the session.
  • Please secure cash, jewellery, valuables, medication and confidential documents before the session begins.
  • An adult (18+) should be present for the session.
  • The assistant may decline to start or continue in an environment they reasonably consider unsafe.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wdrbe is not liable for loss of or damage to property during a session. Any claim in connection with the session itself is between you and the assistant.

9. Photographs and your wardrobe data

Your assistant will photograph your items and upload them to the Wdrbe app so you can view your catalogued wardrobe. As you do not have an account, access to your catalogued wardrobe will be provided by email in line with our Privacy Policy. We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

Please tell your assistant before the session about anything you do not want photographed.

10. Reviews

After a session you may be invited by email to leave a review. Reviews must be honest, lawful and your own genuine experience. We may remove reviews that breach these rules.

11. Vetting

We verify assistants’ identity, location, right to work and experience before approving them. This reduces but does not eliminate risk. Assistants remain independent and are responsible for their own work, conduct, tax and any insurance.

12. Our liability

The platform is provided on an “as is” basis. As an intermediary, Wdrbe is not liable for the acts or omissions of assistants or customers.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, Wdrbe’s total liability to you in connection with a booking is limited to the service fee Wdrbe received for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Conduct

Please treat assistants with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or threatening or unsafe behaviour will end the session and may result in future bookings from you being declined. Assistants are held to the same standard.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one shown when you book. This version was last updated on 6 August 2026.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence (including Nigeria) grants you rights that apply regardless.
